Overview:

A well-established company in the manufacturing and distribution sector—specialising in ceiling and drywall systems—is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk for a 4-month fixed-term contract, starting in September 2025. This onsite role in Durban requires an individual with solid experience in creditors and a willingness to assist across general finance functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Full creditors/accounts payable function

Capturing and processing supplier invoices

Uploading and preparing payment batches

Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries

Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Assisting with reception duties (e.g., answering phones, welcoming visitors)

Providing support with general finance-related administrative tasks

 

Requirements:

Proven experience in a creditors/accounts payable role

Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and financial systems

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Good organisational and communication skills

Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping
