Social Media Manager | Durban

 

A growing and dynamic company in the automotive industry is looking for a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to join their marketing team in Durban.

 

This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital storytelling, brand building, and creating impactful content that drives engagement and lead generation.

 

The successful candidate will take ownership of the company’s social media presence and support marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives across multiple digital platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow all company social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube

Develop and implement monthly social media strategies and content calendars

Create engaging social media copy, reels, short-form videos, and content concepts

Manage and optimise paid social media campaigns to drive engagement, awareness, and lead generation

Monitor and respond to community engagement, comments, and messages

Analyse social media performance and provide monthly reporting and insights

Collaborate with internal marketing teams, agencies, and regional stakeholders to support campaigns and promotions

Provide social media coverage for events, launches, and activations

Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates

Minimum Requirements

✔ Relevant Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field

 

 ✔ 3–5 years’ experience in social media management or digital marketing

 

 ✔ Proven experience managing brand social media accounts and campaigns

 

 ✔ Strong understanding of Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and analytics tools

 

 ✔ Excellent copywriting and communication skills

 

 ✔ Experience running paid social media advertising and lead generation campaigns

 

 ✔ Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 

⭐ Experience within the automotive industry will be advantageous
