About the Role:

You will be responsible for handling all motor and non-motor personal lines claims, as well as related claims queries, ensuring a first-class level of service at all times.
 
Key Responsibilites:
To assess each claim on the insurance administration system and identify the type of claim
Assess the validity of the claim and documentation
Notify/Communicate to the insurers and brokers possible Invalid claims
Assure capturing of claims are done accurately and correctly
Assure all criteria is met to pay the claim
Assure the quality of feedback (written and verbal) to brokers and clients
Attend to both inbound & outbound call queries
To ensure claims workflow and procedures are adhered to
Asses claims for possible fraud risks
Attend identified training sessions as and when arranged
Establish and complete claim financials
Ensure claims within mandate are adhered to
 
Qualifications:
Must have matric
Must have the relevant FAIS qualifications and be Fit & Proper Competent
Class of Business Commercial Lines and Personal Lines
Regulatory Examination for Representatives
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Claims Handler
Strong understanding of the Insurance Industry
Able to make calculations
Strong sales / retentions background
